The apartment is built around a central patio that provides a constant
supply of light and fresh air year-round. Sliding glass doors allow
access to the patio, reserved for the exclusive use of the guests
of la Casa Cádiz. The patio is ideal for dining or
lounging, which Cádizs pleasant climate makes possible
much of the year. Over your morning coffee, you will hear the neighborhood
roosters calling to each other.
The apartment is comfortably furnished with a combination of antiques
and attractive modern furniture.
La Casa Cádiz sleeps six comfortably. The master bedroom
has a queen-sized bed and built-in closet. The second bedroom has
a trundle bed with two twins. It too has a built in closet. The
large living room can sleep two additional people on its fold-out
couch.
La Casa Cádiz is located on Calle Ustáriz,
a quiet street just one block long. It is conveniently situated
in the old city center, a short walk to shopping, restaurants, plazas
and cafes. The University of Cádiz is five minutes away,
and in less than ten minutes you can be sitting on the beach at
La Caleta, the ancient Phoenician and Roman harbor.
There is no need for a car in Cádiz, but if you have one
for day-trips to the surrounding pueblos blancos (whitewashed mountain
towns), fishing villages down the coast, or the splendid Atlantic
beaches, you can often park right in front of the house. There is
also a reasonably priced public parking lot scant minutes away.
